ABOUT THE KIPU
KI-pu, Noun. Both singular and plural. Name for both the consortium of non-physical clergy working with the channel at this site, and the individuals therein. The consortium overall consists of a constantly fluctuating cast of characters, centered around the channel and her past and future lives. They have described their membership as “visiting scholars, rogues, and angels.”
Kipu is also the nickname of one Mayan in the consortium, a mathematician and astronomer. It comes from Quipu, a Mesoamerican counting device like an abacus but made of string. Each knot is a Quipu, as is the entire device. So are the channel and many of the individual consortium members made from the same core consciousness.
